The Pineal Gland was revered during the Egyptian times as the Eye of Horus for a reason, because it is the Seat of the Soul. You can see the Eye of Horus clearly outlines the Pineal Gland.
“My view is that this gland [the pineal gland] is the principal seat of the soul, and the place in which all thoughts are formed.” – Rene Descartes (1596-1650), French mathematician, writer and philosopher, wrote in his book “Treatise of Man”
Intuitive feelings are felt with your gut, as they say gut feeling, and heart. Your inner (higher) self communicates to you in these areas, by giving us a FEELING that something is not quite right or feels right. The Pineal Gland is where the intuitive Intellectual information comes through, where the Feelings you get are backed up with reasons. The pineal gland contains a photoreceptor just like our two seeing eyes, such that it can perceive light. Here you receive Light (which can carry & is) information, transmitted to you from your higher self and over souls. Crazy, well that’s exactly how fibre optics that carry sounds and brings you the internet work, they send information coded in a beam of light down the cables.
The Pineal Gland is also where you can perceive / see things like Energies. The Ancients knew this and thus it is called ‘the third eye’ also referred to as the Ajna Chakra. The third eye chakra is honored in many cultures including Hindu, Druidic, Judaic, Islamic, Taoist, Mayan, Tibetan, Egyptian, Greek and Aboriginal, seen as responsible for spiritual consciousness, intuition and insight. Your soul is multi-dimensional, so through greater connection thought the Pineal Gland, you can achieve multi-dimensional vision. Being able to perceive through here, enables it to be a “stargate” or pathway between the physical and metaphysical dimensions.
The highest level of our oversouls is Source and ultimately spiritual growth is to achieve a state of Source Integration, thus the pineal gland is also considered the “divine eye” or “eye of God.”. Through meditation and alignment with Source, you can start to tap into its infinite knowledge and creative force, which is further described in Meditation with the Sri Yantra and The Manifestor in You. Many people meditate as they find it helps increase creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition. Enlightenment is the integration with Source, and being enlightened with all its knowledge. Connection with Source also results in feelings of absolute bliss. Mediation for me is about stepping into alignment with Source and maintaining this feeling of bliss. Letting go of thoughts when you notice them and re-aligning yourself with this bliss again and again. Our goal should be to walk in alignment, in Love and Gratitude throughout daily life as much as possible, not just during meditational breaks. It is not about manifestation, it’s about being connected to Source as much as possible so you can be the Best possible and the Happiest you at all times; naturally vibrating at your highest, so you also raise the vibrations around you as much as possible. As you become more enlightened here in the 3 dimensional world (because your true Self/Soul is Enlightened), so does everyone else through the Collective Consciousness, making it also easier for others to achieve this state. Buddhist don’t achieve enlightenment just for themselves, they know as they raise they also impact the Collective. Connection with the Oneness also helps widen your perception, so your overview is not just about yourself, but encompasses others and the world; promoting empathy and understanding, and harmonious relationships. Clogging up of the Pineal Gland is a sure way to damage these connections, preventing spiritual evolution and causing entrapment in this 3 dimensional material world.
Even if you don’t believe the yibber yabber, the Pineal gland is part of your brain. Known functions are that it produces and secretes melatonin, a serotonin-derived hormone responsible for regulating the body’s bio-rhythms like our sleep-wake cycles. The pineal and hypothalamus glands work together to tell the other endocrine glands when it is time to release the hormones they make. Thus their function is directly related to overall hormone health. If they are damaged overall hormonal health will suffer, which affect processes like the body’s hunger and thirst, sexual desire, growth and ageing. I mean the thyroid hormone alone controls the cardiovascular system, brain development, muscle control, digestive health and metabolism. Scientists haven’t even works out what 90% of our brain does, so what makes you think they know everything about the Pineal Gland.
This is a Masonic design depicting the Staff of Osiris on the side of the Whitehall Building in the New York Financial District, showing two enormous intertwining snakes spiralling up to a pinecone (which represents the Pineal Gland). The snakes are not only similar to DNA spirals, but of torsion fields that spin around particles. The consequences of these torsion fields creates the natural forms of matter. Thus the spiral is the most common form in the universe, from galaxies to cyclones, shells, flowers and plants. It is not just any spiral either, Fibonacci discovered they all followed a certain rhythm (proportions) which he called the Golden Spiral. These spirals take time to form, time is required to shape a shell, a flower to grow. Thus the shape of Time and Space is considered a spiral. Time and Space expands outwards on the Staff of Osiris, from one point at the bottom, the Oneness. The Oneness stands throughout Time & Space, connected throughout and headed by the Pineal Gland, which as shown here connects ultimately to the Light (depicted by the Sun). It depicts our Evolution from and towards the Light as we move through Time and Space, forever expanding. It was never the Sun they worship, but the Light it represents.
One thing’s for sure, damage or the clogging up of your brain is preventing your body and you from reaching your full potential. So let’s all agree that calcification of any part of our Brain and especially the Pineal Gland is Bad News. Fluoride is one of the main culprits that calcifies the pineal tissue and basically shuts the gland down and has even been shown to lower IQ. It basically prevents our inner growth, maturely and spiritually, obstructing our natural evolution. Here are ways you can start taking care of it to allow us achieve optimum health, and access to our highest wisdom and joy:
Fluoride – I know the natural mineral can be found in small doses of spring water, but that’s not the same thing that added to some people’s water supplies or dental products. The fluoride that’s added is toxic waste, please see Debunking Fluoride Myth article here. Logic tells you that digesting industrial waste can’t be good for you – Avoid it. There are special water filters that take fluoride out and for showerheads to reduce absorption of fluoride through the pores. Fluoride free tooth pastes and mouth wash can also be purchased. Boiling fluoridated water only concentrates it so it’s best to stop fluoridation of water supplies. Fluoride is also highly carcinogenic (cancer-causing).
Get Some Turmeric in Your Regular Diet. Findings published in Pharmacognosy Magazine, by a research team from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, India, observed that regular consumption of turmeric helps to protect the mammalian brain against fluoride poisoning, by both neutralizes existing fluoride and protects against additional fluoride.
Healthy Diet of Organic, Living, Plant based foods – All sorts of chemicals including pesticides, herbicides, additives, preservatives, and hormones can be found in the vegetables and meat that you buy from the supermarket. Not only are they linked to pineal gland calcification but also to a host of other bad health issues. Give processed and GMO foods the boot. Try and eat as close to 1 whenever possible, from a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being freshly grown and plucked from the garden, say 2 is grown food that’s been packaged and has started to die, to 10 processed food like hot dogs. You body is being regenerated every day; cells die and are replaces constantly. Now what is it being regenerated with – with what you put into your mouth. Remember Rubbish in, Rubbish out!
It is more expensive, so try as best you can. When you can’t, make sure you wash all of the fruit and veggies that you buy. This can be done by sprinkling baking soda generously on your fruit/vegetable, scrub and then rinse under cold running water. Or stir white distilled vinegar into 3 cups water and submerge vegetable in the mixture, letting soak for at least two minutes.
Choose animal products that are organic, free-range and hormone free. If the packaging doesn’t say “hormone free”, it probably isn’t. Free-range because simply there’s no reason why we can’t treat animals well before they are to be eaten and health wise, if you are eating animals that are caged and treated badly, that meat is going to be carrying a lot of negative bad vibes.
Cut out acidic beverages like soda and energy drinks as all you are drinking are chemicals (also due to sugar – which cancer cells love).
Beets – which I LOVE – contain boron which helps balance calcium intake and remove metals and other compounds, like fluoride. Beets are also loaded with B vitamins to help sustain energy and encourage cellular health.
Mercury – can be found primarily in seafood such as fish, prawns, tuna and shrimp. Chelating agents are those that bind to heavy metal toxin ions, which are then are removed from our body through our regular discharge. Cilantro (Chinese parsley) and chlorella is a powerful chelator for numerous heavy metals. Chlorella also supplies many vital nutrients required to detox. You can disguise fresh cilantro and chlorella in smoothies, as well as other superfoods like spirulina, wheatgrass, kale, broccoli and raw cacao that would be good to include in your diet.
Avoid/Minimise other Toxins – such as sugar, artificial sweeteners, air refreshers, deodorants, Alcohol and Tobacco etc. and anything that isn’t found in nature.
Sun Gazing & Darkness – The pineal gland photoreceptor perceives light and not just light reflected from your retina, so close your eyes as you face the sun as it can hurt your retina. For sun glazing with your eyes open, start in the early mornings or at dusk, when the sun is not so strong and remember to close your eyes now and then, being careful not to damage your retina. The pineal gland is also activated by complete darkness, so it’s important to try and sleep in this.
Meditation – and mediation with the Sri Yantra can help activate the pineal gland. The best time to meditate on the Pineal gland is when it is active, in the middle of the night between 1 and 4 am. This is why Indian Swamis (Yogis) meditate at 3am. Meditating in natural sunlight, with the sun on your 3rd eye area (eyes closed) also feels amazing. Binaural Beats – Sticks some on your headphones while you’re meditation.
Use IT! – how do you activate your arm? you use it. The more you use it, the more the muscle builds up. The same with the Pineal Gland. You want to open your Pineal Gland to achieve other things, like perceiving energies, then go learn how to do that or mediate on perceiving things, it’s circular. You want to activate your arm to pick some thing up, so you go pick something up. Of course your muscle is going to work best, when it’s healthy and unclogged up. Activating your pineal gland means opening yourself to other dimensions. You should be well grounded in your spiritual growth and have a life of integrity before you do this. You attract similar vibrations (Law of Attraction) and thus if you have a tendency to cheat, control, manipulate, large ego etc, you will attract similar lower astral interferences that can be detrimental to your life, health and well-being. Exploring other worlds must always be done in the context a strong ethical, emotional stability and grounded spiritual life. Maintain positive thoughts and actions to maintain a high vibration.
When you start to awaken you may experience headaches. Yes, you would think it would be all fun, but no, they couldn’t make it easy. If it feels like pressure, like someone pushing, in-between your eyebrows. Take your fingers and press there for a few moments and that usually helps ease it up. You may also feel tiredness stemming from the pineal gland area, just like if you had strained your eyes all day and they are tired. These are normal symptoms. The book What is Lightbody channeled by Tashira Tachi-ren is a good read and describes other symptoms that you may experience and how to alleviate them. One I find very beneficial to help let go of resistance to awakening changes, is imagining yourself on the beach, legs towards the water. Then imagine the waves, as waves of light, washing over your body back and forth, washing away any resistances or other negative issues you may be holding on to.
